Kyukyodo (鳩居堂) was founded as a pharmacy in Kyoto, Japan in 1663 and now it is known as the most famous stationary store in Japan which is especially offering Japanese traditional stationary.
This beautiful paper hexagon pen stand is a handicraft one with Japanese traditional paper called “Washi”. Yuzen dyeing color patterns are printed on the Japanese paper. Yuzen technique was originally developed in Kyoto for printing Japanese traditional clothes(Kimono).
