This is a Japanese traditional Kinchaku pouch with square bottom made of Chirimen crepe fabric. Chirimen fabric is Japanese traditional crepe cloth called “Chirimen weave”. Chirimen weave technique was originally developed for Kimono(Japanese traditional clothes.
