Fukujuen tea Co.(福寿園) was founded in Kyoto Uji, Japan in 1790 and it has been providing the highest quality Japanese green tea over 200 years. So Fukujuen is well known as the most famous green tea store in Kyoto Japan.
These tea leaves, GOJYOBASHI is names after one of the popular sightseeing spots in Kyoto. Hojicha GOJYOBASHI is made of gradually roasted SENCHA tea, which has an aromatic flavor. GOJYO bridge passing over Kamo river on which, according to legend. Ushiwakamaru (later a legendary general) fought with Benkei (later his subordinate).
