Blue Bottle Coffee Dripper
Description
Blue Bottle Coffee developed an original dripper to further express the “deliciousness” of blue bottle coffee.
It is a dripper designed with physicists focusing on structure, shape and flow. It is manufactured at Kubota Minoru Pottery -Kuemon- in Arita Town, Saga Prefecture.
Structure
This dripper has 40 vertically protruding lines. Due to the protrusions on this line, coffee flows out of the extraction port along the filter at a constant speed.
As a result, a certain flow was created that was not too late and not too early, and it became possible to extract only the best ingredients that coffee originally had.
This method is inspired by how trees already exist in nature, like carrying water from roots to leaves.
It was designed to extract just one cup of coffee. This dripper not only properly accommodates the amount of coffee powder and hot water necessary for brewing one cup,
but also ensures a consistent flow in the dripper. In terms of design, except for the extras, as a result of leaving only the most important features,
Blue Bottle Coffee came to this sophisticated form.
